Hi All,

I suppose I'll get the answer by how many people both look and reply to this post............

I'd like to get more from this forum but think that this would only come with more participation. For a long time now very few people have used it.

At a local level in Macarthur I have encouraged new Umpires to register with this forum and ask questions here so they hopefully get the right answers from the right place.

Suggestion # 1

I think new Umpires (I know I did when I first started using it) using this forum could perhaps be a bit nervous, apprehensive, etc about asking questions which they think may be a bit basic but at the end of the day that's exactly one of the things that this forum is about.

Could we have a new section added - NEW UMPIRES - ASK YOUR QUESTIONS HERE ! sub text - Anything here no matter how basic you think it is. No Flaming Allowed

Suggestion # 2

Those of us that look at the forum should encourage people to use and look at it and if we get asked questions about umpiring from time to time post them here for others to see the answers that others may have.

At last month's NSWBUA meeting we had a couple of great questions in general business. If these were posted on this forum the answers could have been viewed by a much larger audience.
